Refunds

This policy applies to paid professional engagements with Application Findings Bureau for financial audits of applications, related readiness reviews, and findings briefings. This website does not sell physical goods or software subscriptions.

Eligibility

Refunds are available when we cancel an engagement we cannot staff, when a deposit was taken for work that never started at our request, or when a written engagement is terminated under the conditions below.

Timeframe

Refund requests must be emailed to hello@automateinsights.digital within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

Full and partial refunds

If we cancel before desk review begins, deposits are refunded in full. If you cancel more than five working days before the agreed start date, the deposit is refunded minus a NT$3,000 administration charge. Cancellations inside five working days forfeit the deposit. After desk review has started, fees for completed stages are non-refundable; unused later stages may be partially credited at our discretion.

Non-refundable items

Completed memoranda, delivered board briefings, and third-party costs we incur at your written request (such as certified translation) are non-refundable.

Process and timing

Email hello@automateinsights.digital with your engagement reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within five working days and process approved refunds within 14 working days to the original payment method where possible.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may request one reschedule without charge if notice is given at least five working days before start. Later reschedules may require a new deposit. No-shows for scheduled briefings without 24-hour notice are charged as delivered time.

Work already started

Document intake and desk review count as started work. Materials you supplied remain yours; draft findings produced before termination stay confidential and are not delivered unless fees for that stage are paid.

Deposits

A 40% deposit typically reserves the review slot. Deposits are applied to the final invoice or handled under the refund rules above.
